The gate of Europe: Madrid, Spain.
I couldn’t choose just a one country to visit because I love to travel and to know new cities, countries, cultures and to meet people. But if I have to choose the first country on my trip, Madrid, Spain is the answer.
To visit the great downtown of Madrid, the subway is the best option, many stations connect the principal places, buildings and the interest points with all the city and the Barajas Airport.
On downtown, Gran Vía is one of the most important boulevards in Madrid with many restaurants, hotels and important stores to visit and shop. This boulevard across in the middle of downtown and connect the principal government buildings, palaces, museums, squares and monuments of the city such as Puerta del Sol (the kilometer 0 of Spain) and Plaza Mayor, the main square.
Near downtown, I would visit the famous park “Parque del Retiro” to relax and to know beautiful historical buildings and monuments inside the park like the Palacio de Cristal and Monumento Alfonso XII.
To finish my trip in this city, Atocha Station, is the last stop in Madrid and the beginning to the next trip to another city of Spain or Europe.
I want one day to study in Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and live in this city for the life quality, the architecture, the transport infrastructure of the city (my passion with the urbanism 💖), for the many historical places to visit and the proximity to many countries and different cultures.
woow I do not know Spain, but I do know other large countries airports. next time I'll go yes or yes.
